According to “The Cruising Guide to New England Coast including the Hudson River and Long Island Sound and the Coast of New Brunswick” the Rockland Bergen Boat Club is described as “…the friendly Rockland Bergen Boat Club here boats can tie up. Call them on VHF 68 or 16.
Founded in 1959 by the Lederle Laboratory Employee Recreation Association (LERA), this is the oldest working club on the river. The Club has grown over the years and accepts new members from all walks of life who are interested in Safe Boating, Preserving the Hudson River Environment and Family Fun.
After Hurricane Sandy the Club was forced to relocate to their new home at Patsy's Bay Marina, Stony Point, NY.
